Centre Console -Vacuum Formed Components

Bespoke manufacturer of Land Rover centre consoles used vacuum formed parts supplied by APHollings to add surprise & delight features to their next generation console. We were requested to develop vacuum form tooling, from hand made patterns by APH craftsmen. The aluminium tooling to be CNC machined was to include a docking pocket for an Iphone and the necessary changes required from an Automatic to a Manual Gear change. Vacuum cast gaiters in a suitable shore hardness in a surrogate rubber resin to simulate manual change, were to be part of our brief.
